The challenge

The Solace Space needed an online home that communicated both the atmosphere of its gatherings and the practical details of attending. Visitors needed to understand what the experience involved, feel welcome and find information about upcoming events.

As my own sound healing venture, the project also needed to express the care and intention behind the experience.

The approach

  1. 01

    Translate the experience into design

Create a visual direction that reflects the slower pace and sense of connection at the heart of The Solace Space.

  2. 02

    Balance feeling with clarity

Pair thoughtful language with straightforward information, helping visitors understand what they’re being invited to experience.

  3. 03

Make the first visit feel easy

A step-by-step “evening with us” and a dedicated first-session guide, so newcomers know exactly what to expect before they arrive.

  4. 04

Give every way in its own place

Separate pages for public gatherings, private and corporate sessions and the chakras in sound, with a mailing list so people hear about new dates first.

Colour & type

Linen and pale sage keep the website quiet and open, with olive and deep forest greens grounding the text. Warm, film-like footage from real gatherings brings the atmosphere of the room onto the screen.

The Seasons gives the headings a soft, editorial elegance, paired with Glacial Indifference for clear, gentle reading. TAN Mignon is reserved for the logo.

The result

A custom-built website that introduces The Solace Space, welcomes first-timers and gives its London gatherings a recognisable online home, with private and corporate sessions alongside. The project brings together my work as a web designer and sound healer, connecting the experience I create in person with the way people first discover it online.
